Swags & Tails
Whether it is an old film set or a luxury home, swags and tails have always been seen as the epitome of extravagance. The beauty of incorporating swags and tails into your home is that you can choose lovely fabric, beading, and all the extras to go with it!
It is important to use a professional curtain designer, maker, and experienced curtain fitting team when choosing fabrics and styles. The making of each swag is very intricate and takes time, as well as the work required for the tails, hand-sewing on the braid/trimmings.
We are professional curtain designers, makers, and fitter and with our 25 years’ worth of experience, you can be confident that your windows will be dressed to perfection and your style.

Absolute Classic Design with Swags & Tails
There are a few takes and styles on swags and tails, and each one can suit the type of style you are looking for.
Traditional swags with nice big scoops are extra luxurious, extra fabric is required for the lower swags which showcase the extra costings. We generally recommend an odd number of swags so that there is a centre-piece and it can be symmetrical, if there’s an even number then there must be an overlap in the centre.
Tails are also an important part, we like to use a contrast lining as this is shown at the front. Tails are the perfect place to add trims, braids and fringing as this hangs down at the sides beautifully.
