Wave Curtains
Our expert designers, experienced curtain makers, and professional fitters are perfectly placed to create Wave curtains for your home.
Wave curtains need to be made bespoke due to the nature of how they are made; therefore professional advice and a high-quality finish is recommended. The tracks we use are Silent Gliss to ensure each fold is uniform.
There are many benefits of Wave curtains, including being ideal for large and high windows as the stackback of Wave is much more than other curtain headings; in addition, it stacks in the most uniform way. It offers a very modern and sleek look, hence it is used a lot in showhomes and modern properties.

How are our wave curtains different
The Wave system was created by Silent Gliss and offers the very sleekest and most modern finish of any curtain heading.
In order for the Wave system to work, the curtains hang underneath the track and the Waves are spaced either 60 mm or 80 mm apart with slightly different depth options.
Unlike other curtain headings, the Wave system has no ‘pleat’ or gather, hence the modern look. The system operates by using a bespoke track (without the track, the Wave system cannot work properly); this means the curtains can stack back very effectively, making Wave curtains perfect for ceiling-to-floor and wide windows, without taking up too much space.
Characteristics of Wave Curtains
As outlined previously, Wave curtains have their own category due to the different nature of how they are made and how they fall. We’ve outlined the main specification for Wave curtains to show you in a simple yet detailed way:
- Most modern finish of a curtain heading
- Perfect for wide and high windows as it maintains a minimal style
- Wave curtains hang underneath the track
- this allows the curtains to stack back more than other headings
- Suitable for electric curtains or smart-home technology systems
- We use Silent Gliss custom tracks and bespoke poles (Silent Gliss Metropoles) for the install systems for our Wave curtains
- It is recommended by Silent Gliss for the curtains to finish off the floor
- this is subject to personal opinion as many of our clients still prefer the finish on the floor
- Can be installed on uncorded or corded tracks, including bay windows
